India is Shining in world spots stage again. Archer Deepika Kumari gets a silver Medal in World Archery Cup. In France World Cup Deepika Showed her class and temperament. But Unfortunately Deepaka only manage to settle for a silver medal. In final 19 year Old Indian Girl Deepika gave Tought fight against Ok-Hee Yun (Korea) But Finally she stood in second place.
At one point of time Deepika looks clear favarate to the Gold medal but Some mistakes committed in the crusial stage costs Deepika Gold medal. at on stage Deepika got three perfect 10 arrows and led with 3-1. In third set Deepika in trouble. she did not concentrate and she missed the target. In other hand Korean girl bounced back tremendously and she went leading with 6-4 And she ensure the Gold Medal.
In final set Deepika may hit 10 point twice but korean girl did the same and take the Yellow mettle. This is the third time in row for Deepika to get a silver medal in World cup. Of course this time she missed narrowly. In Indian Archery history Dola Banerjee only win the gold. this is the fourth appearance for Deepika in world cup. earlier she is participated in 2010, 11, 12 world cups.
This is the good progression for Indian Archers in world cup. its a good sign for our young archers. This win gave our archers lot of confidence. actually we have quality archers but Archers like Deepka only shined at world stage, remaining archers also must inspire from Depika and should give good show in future tournaments.
